Denis Cavert
Co-founder of Thinkeen Europe, Denis has more than 25 years experience in vaccines and specialty pharma in France, Germany, Italy and Austria. He then held commercial and general management positions with Sanofi Pasteur MSD as commercial director in Italy, with Baxter first as vice president Sales & Marketing Vaccines Europe based in Vienna, Austria, then as business unit director for Bioscience division in France. He was recently Business Unit Director for Merck Serono’s Neurology division in France. He also has held different positions in industry associations: member of the board of EVM (European Vaccines Manufacturers), and president of PPTA – Plasma Proteins Manufacturers. Denis holds a master's degree from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) Toulouse, France, and holds a Master in Agro-Food Business from ESSEC Business School, in Cergy, France.
Xavier Champavere, PhD
Co-founder of Thinkeen Europe, Xavier has gathered over 30 years of experience in the lifescience sector including 15 years in the vaccine industry with Aventis Pasteur MSD and general management positions in France and Argentina, the UK, Italy and Greece. Today he is also non-executive director to the board of Moleac Pte (biopharmaceutical ). In 2012 Xavier joined Cellectis Bioresearch (global leader in gene editing & cell line engineering) as deputy CEO. Previously he held key leadership positions in the service industry (CRM, CSO,CRO) for the pharmaceutical companies (Cegedim CRM and data collection, Cider Santé and Arvem CS). Other positions ahve included: BUD for France, Belgium & Luxembourg at Serono Biotech, Managing Director Italy and France at Sanofi Pasteur MSD and director commercial development UK and Ireland. Xavier holds a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Compiègne and is an alumnus of INSEAD, ESCP and Henley Management College executive programs.
Peter DeRobertis
Peter’s experiences encompass primarily healthcare and life sciences, with some of the top company brands across a variety of industries with experience in general management, marketing, sales, business development and commercial training, with more than 20 years of B2B achievements. Recent experiences: General manager at Lab Corp with full P&L, responsibility, head of sales operations and customer experience at OrthoSensor, a MedTech start-up, principal at Korn-Ferry for the healthcare practice in the Miami office, Director of sales and marketing effectiveness at Baxter Latin America and Canada Region, general manager within one of Cardinal Health’s B2B businesses for over 5 years and various Commercial positions at Abbott Laboratories, across multi Divisions. Peter has a B in medical sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago and an executive MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Ana Maria Gaitan
Ana Maria has 11 years experience in the medical devices and biotech sector and 14 years in consumer marketing. She served as regional business director at Baxter (Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean), managing director at Baxter Central America, Business Manager Baxter Hospital Therapy and Renal in Venezuela and Marketing Director Colgate Peru’. She has proven expertise in international new market entrance and new product launches specifically medical devices and biopharmaceuticals. Ana Maria has also a successful track record in international commercial organizations formation, development and management. She holds an MBA and a BA in Business Administration.
Kirsten Gallagher
Over the past 20 years, Kirsten has held leadership roles with international media, business and academic organizations, driving industry-related initiatives across the marketing and communications spectrum. She has supported pharmaceutical and device start-ups, as well as university biomedical and business programs. She serves as managing director of the Business School Alliance of Health Management, a global consortium of leading healthcare-focused MBA programs and as publisher of a new industry journal. Previously, Kirsten served as VP of corporate communications for a Novartis spin-off. As a journalist, Kirsten covered the European pharmaceuticals industry as Zurich bureau chief for Bloomberg News. Kirsten holds an MA in International Journalism from the University of Southern California, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Jim Karas
Jim is a fitness and wellness expert with over three decades of invaluable experience helping people look and feel their very best. Severine Lorigny, MD
Severine holds 15+ years of experience as senior medical and marketing executive in multinational companies and start-ups specializing in metabolic diseases, rare diseases and biotechnologies. Severine started her career at Serono and launched Rebif® where she was medical director for five years. Her proven managerial expertise centers on: market access, customer engagement, design and establishment of new, higher medical standards and the development of successful, patient centric, value proposition. For instances she managed and implemented the successful launch of Elocta (Hemophilia) at SOBI in France. Severine holds an MD degree from the University Paris XI and she has successfully graduated from the INSEAD TGM program.
Christian Perez
Christian is the Managing Partner of Thinkeen Legal, a law firm that specializes in corporate and commercial law, domestic and cross-border transactions and compliance with a focus on life sciences. Christian is an experienced and dually-trained and licensed counsel with a 20+ year solid track record of advising clients and senior management on critical legal, compliance and operational matters both domestically and internationally. Christian’s vast experience includes partnership and senior leadership positions at top global law firms such as Baker & McKenzie and Arnold & Porter, and in billion-dollar healthcare companies such as Baxter International, Olympus Corporation and OPKO Health. Christian holds an LL.B from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, a J.D, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and an LL.M from Georgetown University Law Center. He is also admitted to the practice of law in the District of Columbia, Florida and Venezuela.
Luigi Negri
Luigi founded Thinkeen® in early 2013. In the previous 20 years, Luigi has worked in several international assignments with both commercial and general management responsibilities in the biotechnology and medical device industry across multiple global corporations. These included VP Northern Europe for CR Bard, VP-GM Emerging Markets of Latin America at Baxter Healthcare, area GM for Poland & Russian Federation at Baxter Healthcare . Luigi holds an MS in Engineering from the University of Bologna (Italy) and an MBA from the University of Kansas. Today Luigi is Managing Partner at Thinkeen® Global Consulting specializing in global commercial strategy for the Life Science industry.

Carlos Travaglia
Carlos is a US CPA with over 24 years of experience in finance in healthcare, telecom projects, M&A and consumer electronics. Carlos was recently CFO of Andean Tower Partners - Digital Bridge (telecommunication infrastructure) for the last two years. Previously, Carlos was regional sales controller for Apple Latin America for over six years. Prior to that, Carlos had a 16-year career at Baxter Healthcare starting as Argentina country controller, Bioscience and Renal business unit controller, Renal Therapy Services M&A and as emerging market finance director. Carlos received his BA in Accounting from UNRC in Argentina and an MBA and MIM from University of St Thomas - Minnesota, a Global Finance Executive program at Carlson School of Management, and earned a Commercial Banking Certificate at Florida International University.
Vijaya Vasista
Vijaya (VJ) has an exceptional background as a leader with global management experience across multinational corporations. Her industry-specific experience includes medical devices, molecular diagnostics, and nanotechnology. VJ began her career with Baxter Healthcare and served as vice president of global marketing. She was then appointed COO of a nanotechnology based molecular diagnostic start-up. She was also VP for CR Bard, EMEA Marketing Sales Effectiveness. VJ has a BSc from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
